Francie Hester Exhibits in Alexandria, VA

Francie Hester (BFA '82) will exhibit her work “Symbolic Spaces” in the last opening of her 2014 gallery displays in Alexandria, Virginia. The opening reception will be held on Sunday, June 29 from 4-6pm.

Cathy VanVoorhis: Painting on Exhibit at Muskegon Museum of Art

"Platte River on a Gray Morning", an oil painting by Cathy VanVoorhis (MFA '86), is on exhibit at the Muskegon Museum of Art through Aug. 20.

Carpas Magica/Magic Tent Presents

Carpas Magica, a collaborative project of Nick Tobier, Charlie Michaels and Mick Kennedy, will host an event July 12 from noon - 3 pm at 412 W. Grand Boulevard in Detroit, featuring music, food and papel picado workshops led by Flor Walker.

Kenyon Presents at Chautauqua Institution

On Friday, July 11, Matt Kenyon will be speaking about his recent work at New York's Chautauqua Institution. Kenyon will also be conducting studio visits with Chautauqua students during his week-long Chautauqua residency.
