Custom speakers made for U‑M basketball star and alum Jordan Morgan.

Shortly after graduating in 1997, Stamps Alum Noah Kaplan started a hand-crafted speaker company in Ann Arbor, MI. The company, Leon Speakers, has grown exponentially, with nearly fifty Ann Arbor employees and a strong global network of sellers.

A number of Leon employees are also U‑M alumni, including C.O.O. Ethan Kaplan and Visual Director Anastasia Deinera (Stamps BFA 2008). Deinera’s role is to help guide the aesthetic vision of the company alongside its president and founder, Noah Kaplan.

A recent article in Concentrate media discusses the creative vision of the company, some of its core values and mission, as well as the current direction of its cultural expression.
