Stamps faculty Nick Tobier and Rebekah Modrak’s Back House Gallery has been invited to take part in the first Worldwide Apartment and Studio (WAS) Biennale. The exhibition WAS Biennale: BE MY GUEST looks beyond the frameworks of classical institutional approach to create an opportunity of innovative union and mobilize self-organizing in the arts on a global scale.

This selection of 50 small gouache paintings chronicles the quotidian inventions of coconut water vendors, rickshaw pullers and monkeys in Bangalore, India.
