Blue Cross Blue Shield Celebrates MDes Collaboration

Full table

The Stamps School’s first Masters of Integrative Design cohort (MDes class of 2017) has been working intensely with I‑MPACT, a first-of-its-kind Blue Cross Blue Shield learning collaborative comprising 46 physicians, patients, and caregivers. Members of I‑IMPACT (Integrated Michigan Patient-Centered Alliance on Care Transitions) and students in the Stamps MDes program are interested in applying design thinking and methodologies to improve healthcare delivery. The current primary objective: uncover barriers for successful patient transition from hospital to home. Recently, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan celebrated the I‑IMPACT / Stamps MDes collaboration in their Value Partnerships” blog.
