This Is Not A Landscape
This is Not a Landscape consists of video footage taken in mountainous regions and seascapes projected onto a series of sculpted weavings. I am creating a hyper real environment to further my relationship to the natural world through a camera, a computer, a projector, and an unconventional screen. My remediated landscape is not a landscape; it is a reconstruction of the textures and forms found in Montana, Ireland and Israel woven together to create a placeless setting that mimics the lack of control found in nature.
