The Overwhelming Underwhelm
In the age of social media, we are a society obsessed with appearance, curating displays of happiness and success. We want to share experiences with others that show our strengths and triumphs, creating an outward image that we are doing great. We have chosen to forget that life is not a constant barrage of happiness.
Underwhelm is the experience when an event or action is not as joyous, exciting, or fulfilling as expected. The Overwhelming Underwhelm explores underwhelm through short comic narratives, depicting moments of broken expectations.
