Manasi Agarwal: Starting Meaningful Conversations from Patients’ Real Experiences

Starting Meaningful Conversations from Patients’ Real Experiences

Manasi Agarwal

The work demonstrates the value of a patient journey map, a tool developed from observing an actual patient’s experience of leaving the hospital. Used in the context of a day-long workshop, it aims to coordinate, translate and align a team of disparate members - including patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals - to the patient’s perspective, in order to start meaningful conversations around transitions of care.

Manasi Agarwal is a 2017 MDes in Integrative Design candidate.

This work is featured as part of Pathways: The 2017 Graduate Thesis Exhibition, on display from March 10 - April 1, 2017 at the Stamps Gallery on in Ann Arbor. Visit the exhibition page for dates, times, and hours.
