To coincide with the Detroit Design Festival (Sept 19-23), City Speculations showcases international and regional projects and visionary projections with the physical city of Detroit and its surrounds as a lens to look at the shape of physical cities through emergent creative design in public spaces, emergent economies, transportation and mobility.

Participants & projects include: Matt Bua & Maximillian Goldfarb, The Museum of Vestigial Desire, Mary Lum, McClain Clutter, Perry Kulper, Michael Rieper, The Center for Genomic Gastronomy, Office of Architectural Inventions
