The Graphic Design Part Time Employee will be responsible for designing deadline-driven, brand-compliant projects for the Stamps Communications & Marketing Team. These projects will range from paid print advertisements to event signage. It is imperative that this part time employee is highly proficient with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat and is able to work independently while adhering to style guidelines to maintain a unified brand identity. Candidates must provide link to a digital portfolio at time of application.
The Temporary Marketing Assistant Part-Time Employee will be responsible for assisting the Stamps Communications & Marketing Department with social media execution, market research efforts, grassroots marketing, internal communications efforts, and brand storytelling moments.
• Required computer skills: proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, Word, Social Media platforms, and Acrobat Reader.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a deadline-sensitive environment.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Demonstrated past experience in a design-related position (formal or informal)
• Pursuit of college degree in art and design preferred

This Fall we will be accepting interns to help us spread our progressive message. We need interns to help us design graphics for both physical literature and online graphic design.
The Graphic Design intern works alongside the video coordinator and graduate assistant to create, develop and execute visuals for recruiting and other operations for the basketball program. This is a part time internship for the 2017-18 academic year with the potential of being paid later in the year. Flexibility to work both in and out of the office.
Street Cred’ Detroit is looking for 3 interns to help with the completion of a large scale, multifaceted, trans-media project that’s part of a new PBS Pilot TV Show.
The primary project for the interns is assisting with the completion of an interactive Virtual Reality performance piece. Students will have the opportunity of a lifetime to work with new technology designed by Super 78, a 4D theatrical studio in Los Angeles. They will also partner with a design team doing research at the MIT Mobile Experience lab.
Specific duties will include:
Learning Mushroom VR 360 editing technology
Learning basic tools in Mettle Skybox and Unity 3D platforms
Creating visual effects in a 360 environment
Researching design strategies for immersive performance pieces
Research and helping to design hologram technology
Editing 360 video

This is a part time unpaid internship for the 2017-18 academic year. Interns will receive tickets to home games for the 2017-18 men’s basketball season.
